This course is designed to be an upper-intermediate speaking course, helping students gain the confidence and proficiency to communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently. The class focuses on using a communicative approach, meaning that the teacher will emphasize participation from students and give corrective feedback where necessary. Teaching methods are focused on active participation, pronunciation, and listening skills.
Students are highly encouraged to practice speaking outside of class and to engage with English media.

At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Answer complex questions while practicing logical sequencing and an open speaking style
- Have a greater understanding of complex / academic topics such as religion, beauty, death, and art
- Participate in regular debates and discussions
- Choose their words carefully to best convey certain emotions or intentions
- Prepare and organize a speech using persuasive language
- Create a miniature lesson and have students engage with new information via teaching techniques

To progress to the next level, a score of 70% is required.
Attendance is an integral part of this class. Students who miss more than 3 days per session will find it very difficult to improve or keep up.
