Booking Process

Submit the homestay request through the Student/Agent Portal.
Complete the payment.
The Administration Team will initiate the placement process with the homestay provider.
The Marketing Team will send the homestay profile to the student for review and confirmation.
Once the student confirms the homestay, the Administration Team will ask the provider to reserve the room.
If the student requires airport pick-up service, it must be included in the homestay request at the time of submission.

Upon your arrival, the provider Security will issue you a FOB, a mailbox key (only for stays longer than a month),
and a door code. If these are misplaced or lost, please see Security for replacements.
Replacement Fee for FOB card is $25, and $15 for the Mailbox key.
Residents must be fully vacated from their room no later than 11:00 AM.
Residents wishing to move out prior to the date indicated on the Residence Agreement must
provide 30 days’ notice to the Residence Centre in an email sent to residence@ccnm.edu.
Failure to do so will result in the charging of the month’s rent to cover the absence.

Steps:

1. The Marketer provides the following student information to the Administration Team:

2. The Administration Team contacts the residence provider to verify availability.
If availability is confirmed, the student must submit a residence request through the Student Portal.
3. The student must review, sign, and agree to all residence policies and terms.
4. The student is required to provide the following document:

5. RCIIS will issue the invoice and send the Residence Agreement Form to the student.
The student must sign the Residence Agreement Form and complete the payment to RCIIS.
6. Once the signed agreement and payment are received, RCIIS will submit the residence application on the student's behalf.
7. The residence provider will review the application and confirm the accommodation placement.

Refund Policy

Cancellations must be requested by email at hello@thedreamhouse.ca.
The following fees will apply, based on the timing of the cancellation before the
scheduled check-in date:
4 weeks or more in advance: $200 cancellation fee will apply, the remaining balance
will be refunded.
3 weeks in advance: $200 cancellation fee + 1 week’s rent will be charged. The
remaining balance will be refunded.
2 weeks in advance: $200 cancellation fee + 2 weeks’ rent will be charged. The
remaining balance will be refunded.
1 week or less, or on the day of check-in: $200 cancellation fee + 4 weeks’ rent will
be charged. The remaining balance will be refunded.
No-shows: 100% of the total reservation is non-refundable.

Deposit Refund

Yelden Vision Resident is in charge of the deposit refund to the students. This process may take up to 21 days after the move-out day. The refund payment methods are:

- Wire transfers (there is typically a $45 fee)
