This course is intended to assist students who may have a medium to broad vocabulary range but who still struggle with both phrasal verbs and idioms. Although the main focus will be phrasal verbs and idioms, students will have ample opportunities to practice what they learned through reading, writing and speaking. This course will also allow student to broaden their vocabulary range, regardless of where they are on the spectrum. In order to increase the course's effectiveness, only common idioms and phrasal verbs will be studied as to add a strong element of practicality. This level of practicality can be immediately seen by students when they interact with others in the community.

Attendance is an integral part of this class. Students who miss more than 3 days per session will find it very difficult to improve or keep up.
The teacher will copy handouts for the students to complete during the class.
