This class helps students improve their English while exploring many styles of music, with a focus on listening and speaking. Music makes memorizing vocabulary and grammar fun and engaging, and it helps students develop their pronunciation while learning slang and everyday expressions.

• Famous Canadian songs
• Popular English songs
• Writing your own song
• Different genres of English-language music
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
• Understand common expressions and slang used in songs
• Work together to write their own song in English
• Pronounce English words with greater confidence
• Improve their listening and speaking skills
• Group discussions and pair work
• Guided listening activities with music videos and lyrics
• Pronunciation practice through song lyrics
• Creative tasks such as writing and performing song verses
• Teacher-led explanations of slang and expressions from songs
This class has no formal evaluation. Students are expected to take an active part in all activities, contribute to group work, and complete assigned tasks. The teacher provides regular informal feedback to support their progress.
Regular attendance is essential to success in this class. Students who miss more than 3 days per session will find it very difficult to keep up.
