During this crucial time, the health of our staff and students continues to be our main priority. RCIIS will only be open to students in person when we feel it is safe for everyone. We will continue to focus on online courses, but plan to return to school when the safety of our students can be met and the government allows us to reopen. We recommend checking our school website for up to date information.
At the moment, online classes are the only option. Thousands of students around the world are continuing their studies online and we need to adapt to this new reality.
If you want to take an additional break from your studies, you can ask for a new *vacation (of up to 4 weeks) by using the following link: Vacation request. Please check our academic calendar to make sure you return before the next academic program starting date.
*Please note: The COVID-19 situation continues to change day by day. There is no certainty when classes will return to normal. We highly recommend students join our online classes so their academic plans won’t be interrupted.
If you would like to ask for a refund, we will follow our current refund policy available on our website.
We deeply apologize for this decision, but due to the current COVID-19 situation, some of our classes had to be closed.
We are trying our best to focus on our morning and afternoon online programs to make them the best they can possibly be. We would ask that you try to adjust your schedule if possible and join one of our amazing teachers in the morning.
For those of you who are unable to make adjustments to your schedule, we recommend applying for a vacation until evening classes are back.
For students who came through an agency, we kindly ask you to contact them for visa matters.
We would also like to refer you to the Canada Immigration website, which contains all answers to many of the questions you may have.
According to the website, it is possible to apply for extensions online and there will be a "grace period", but again, we recommend that you look for agencies or consultants qualified for visa inquiries.
Students can defer their studies for up to one year from their last day of class. Within this year, students may restart their studies from their highest level at RCIIS. After a period of 1 year, students will be required to reregister with RCIIS.
